Purpose of Processing
To manage accreditation requests from media professionals and photographers wishing to cover the events of the Misteri d’Elx, control access to authorized areas, and provide related organizational information.
Additionally, photographs taken and submitted may be used by the Patronato del Misteri d’Elx for archiving, documentation and institutional dissemination of the event.

Data Retention Period
Personal data will be kept for a maximum period of five years after the end of the event, unless the data subject requests their erasure earlier, or expressly authorizes their retention for future communications or historical archiving purposes.

Automated Decision-Making and Profiling
No automated decisions or profiling are carried out.

Legal Basis for Processing

• Article 6.1.e) GDPR: processing is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest (organizing and promoting a cultural event declared World Heritage).

• Article 6.1.a) GDPR: the data subject’s consent, particularly regarding the use of their images and identifying data for institutional or public communication purposes not strictly linked to the organization of the event.

Data Recipients
No data transfers to third parties are planned, unless legally required.
The data will be processed solely by authorized personnel of the Patronato del Misteri d’Elx for the stated purposes.

International Transfers
No international data transfers are foreseen.

Data Subject Rights
Data subjects have the right to access their personal data, request rectification of inaccurate data, or request erasure when the data is no longer necessary for the purposes collected.
In certain cases, data subjects may request the restriction of processing, in which case we will only retain data for legal claims.
For reasons related to their personal situation, they may object to the processing. The controller will stop processing the data unless there are compelling legitimate grounds or for the exercise or defense of claims.
They are also informed of their right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
